How can I enjoy the "Cashless Settlement Application Waiver" at GHK?

Bowtie fully reimburses¹ for [249] “All-inclusive Fixed Price Medical Packages” of GHK. The medical package fees cover doctors’ fees, room charges and all other procedure-related standard items and drugs. The steps is as follows:

  1. Feeling unwell:
    • Scenario 1: Seek medical advice at Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong and undergo doctor recommended treatment within the selected medical packages.
    • Scenario 2: Seek medical advice & check if the recommended treatment is available in Gleneagles HK, and is one of the All-inclusive Fixed Price Medical Packages.
  2. During consultation at Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, you need to indicates your rider during a pre- surgery medical consultation by presenting the page after logging into the Bowtie online platform to the doctor or hospital administrative staff.
  3. Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong will submit a pre-approved application² to Bowtie on your behalf.
  4. Bowtie will complete the application review process within 4-6 days and notify you of the results and reimbursement estimate.
  5. Once approved, you will be admitted to Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong on the date arranged by your doctor for the surgery.
  6. When you leave the hospital, you do not need to pay for the expenses covered by the selected medical packages. If there are other charges, you need to settle the payment at discharge and keep the receipt for filing a claim. If applicable, you can file a claim for the shortfall amount on our website.

¹ Full reimbursement only applies to the fees of selected medical packages and is subject to the annual benefit limit of the Insured Person’s VHIS Flexi Plan. The Insured Person has to pay out of pocket to cover all the fees that have not been pre-approved by Bowtie to GHK directly before discharge.
