1. Download & Install 7-Zip

• Download: Go to the official 7-Zip website (https://www.7-zip.org/download.html) and download the appropriate version for your operating system (usually the 64-bit installer for Windows).
• Install: Run the downloaded installer file (e.g., 7z2501-x64.exe).

  • Click Install when prompted.

    

  • Click Close when the installation is complete.

2. Open the Password-Protected ZIP File

• Locate: Find the password-protected ZIP file on your computer.
• Shift + Right-Click: Press keyboard “Shift” + Right-click on the ZIP file.
• Open with 7-Zip: Select 7-Zip in the context menu.
  • Click on Open archive.

3. Enter the Password

• Extraction: A new 7-Zip File Manager window will open, showing the contents of the ZIP file.

• Double-Click/Extract: Double-click on any file inside the archive, or click the Extract button in the toolbar.

  

• Password Prompt: A dialog box will appear asking for the password.
  • Type the correct password into the box.
  • Click OK.
