How does the "Multiple Coverage" feature work in Bowtie Multiple Critical Illness Insurance? Are all illnesses covered for multiple claims?

  • Updated

Both ‘Bowtie Multiple Critical Illness Insurance’ and ‘Bowtie Early Stage and Multiple Cover Critical Illness Insurance’ offer "Multiple Coverage," providing up to five payouts for the three major critical illnesses (cancer, heart attack, and stroke), with a 2-year waiting period between each payout. However, there are slight differences in the payout structure. The former provides a 100% sum insured payout for each claim, while the latter's payout amount may be affected by "Early Stage Critical Illness" claims (20% of sum insured) and waiting periods (2 years).
