The two different waiting periods are:

  1. 90-day waiting period after the new policy takes effect: Any illnesses or conditions diagnosed or surgeries performed during this period that are related to signs and/or symptoms present during the waiting period will not be covered.
  2. 2-year waiting period after each claim: This waiting period applies because both products offer multiple coverage for certain critical illnesses or surgical procedures. This means that after the first claim, each subsequent claim must be at least 2 years apart. Any illnesses diagnosed or major surgeries performed within this 2-year waiting period will not be covered.
