Bowtie is a life insurance company duly authorized under the Insurance Ordinance (Chapter 41 of the Laws of Hong Kong) to carry on long term insurance business in Hong Kong. It is also approved by the Food and Health Bureau as a provider of certified plans under the Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme (“VHIS”) . Bowtie also provides healthcare and wellness services through its membership programs, and some of these services are not insurance products and not directly regulated under the Insurance Ordinance.
The Vision care allowance that members could enjoy depends on their plan level. Plan Level includes:

Is BowtieVision an insurance product?
BowtieVision program is not an insurance product because there is no insurance coverage within the plan.
